“Madame Arthur”
Reframing the visual identity of a Parisian cultural icon
Madame Arthur is a visual identity project developed through immersive observation inside the world of one of Paris’ most iconic cabarets.
Through close proximity to the backstage environment, following Alejandra, the costume designer, the project captures textures, costumes, objects, archival references and everyday gestures that shape its unique visual universe.
This material becomes the foundation for a contemporary identity system that translates the cabaret’s symbolic richness into a new visual language, balancing heritage and reinterpretation.
The project expands into a photobook where graphic design, typography, editorial layouts and image-making interact to construct a layered narrative between documentation and fiction.
Vintage iconography, backstage fragments and contemporary composition coexist, forming a visual study of performance, identity.
